Brickleberry, South Park and More… Even Further Into the Fall 2014 Cartoon Season

16 Sep

Ethel! Brickleberry! We’re heading further into the fall 2014 season of cartoons, and it’s looking like it’s gonna keep being a great one!

Tonight (September 16th), season 3 of Brickleberry begins with “Obamascare” at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Central. The season will continue on forthcoming Tuesdays.

For the next three Thursdays, new season 3 Amazing World of Gumball episodes continue airing at 6:30/5:30c on Cartoon Network. The next three to air will be “The Mothers” (September 18th), “The Password” (September 25th) and “The Procrastinators” (October 2nd).

This next Saturday, September 20th, season 2 of Sanjay and Craig continues with “Barfy’s Babies” and “Butts Up Club”. There will be two more episodes of S&C on September 27th — “Screamday” and “Enter Sandman”.

This upcoming Sunday, September 21st, the final American Dad! on FOX (“Blagsnarst: A Love Story”, featuring the voice of Kim Kardashian) airs at 9:30pm before it moves to TBS for its new season (starting October 20th, episodes will air at 9/8c, and will likely continue on the following Mondays). In addition, Mr. Pickles has its SERIES premiere that same Sunday on Adult Swim at midnight, followed by the Squidbillies season 8 premiere at 12:15am!

Next week on Wednesday, September 24th, season 18 of South Park premieres at 10pm on Comedy Central. The season will likely continue on forthcoming Wednesdays.

The Sunday after that, September 28th, will be the season 26 premiere of The Simpsons with episode “Clown in the Dumps” at 8/7c, followed by the one hour premiere of Family Guy, the Simpsons crossover episode “The Simpsons Guy”!

We’re also waiting for Wander Over Yonder to return. There are still 11 episodes left in its first season.

Also, all the BoJack Horseman season 1 episodes are up on Netflix — really a must-watch show. It’s so hilarious. We’re making our way through this first season, and loving every minute of it!

Comedy Central Fall 2014 Lineup: Brickleberry Season 3, South Park Season 18

14 Aug

BRICKLES3On Tuesday, September 16th at 10:30pm, the original animated series known as Brickleberry will return to Comedy Central.

I’ve found that this show is either loved or hated. There is little in-between. I’ve had die-hard fans of cartoons tell me how awful they think it is, and that I should stop covering it.

But the fact is, I just love Brickleberry too damn much. I wish more haters of it out there would give it a chance.

Centering on a group of bumbling park rangers and also featuring a talking bear cub voiced by Daniel Tosh, I personally find the show to be full of insane, ridiculous and downright hilarious jokes. It pokes fun at dumb rednecks and loose women and general dimwits and everything else that fans of Family Guy or The Simpsons or any other animated show poke fun at.

So, give Brickleberry another try in its third season if you get a chance. Apparently, its ratings are good enough to keep it around, and luckily for fans like me, it shows no sign of slowing down!

**Embedded in this post is the one teaser image we’ve gotten so far from Brickleberry season 3 (the Denzel/Steve bondage one), and below is a picture of Eric the Actor (from Howard Stern) — he has recorded some voice work for an episode this season.**

The week after Brickleberry‘s season 3 premiere, South Park returns to Comedy Central on Wednesday, September 24th at 10pm. This will be South Park‘s 18th season!

The other most recent news for South Park is of course their recent inking of a deal to be exclusively streamed by Hulu, and no longer at SouthParkStudios.com. Pretty crazy.

Not much is known episode-wise for seasons of either Brickleberry OR South Park, and it’s actually amazing I found anything to write about in this article at all (Ha!)

However, as for South Park, you can be assured they will be back with their sharp, witty satire on all of the world’s stupid insanity, all produced in their now-famous week production time! Good stuff.

Don’t miss these two season premieres — 9/16 and 9/24, on Comedy Central!

The Return of Animation Domination, Aqua TV Show Show, Squidbillies, China IL, Brickleberry, and South Park

1 Oct

They’re all back!

Animation Domination on FOX Sunday nights with The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, and American Dad!

Aqua TV Show Show and Squidbillies are both also showing new episodes on adult swim on Sunday nights!

Basically, there’s a lot of things to watch or DVR on Sunday nights.

Hello Mr. UPS man

China, IL is back with new episodes too (also on adult swim). new Regular Show episodes are pretty regular, as is Annoying Orange. All of those on Cartoon Network, of course.

Spongebob shows the occasional new episode on Nickelodeon whenever they feel like it, basically, but I happen to know they’re working on a new Spongebob movie!

We usually stick ONLY to TV, but Spongebob is still on TV, so the movie counts.

So there! Haha.

Here is the link to all the info for Spongebob Squarepants 2, and there is also…

A trailer!

Another great one on Nickelodeon is Sanjay and Craig, of course. It’s incredible! Funny and weird and amazing. Made by Thurop of Flapjack fame.

We’ve also been thoroughly enjoying Transformers Prime. While not our usual comedy fare, we’ve always had a soft spot for giant transforming alien robots from Japan.

Call us crazy.

Finally, Brickleberry is showing new episodes on Comedy Central on Tuesdays, and new South Park episodes are on Comedy Central on Wednesdays!

Think that’s pretty much everything going on!

Aqua Something, Sanjay and Craig, other Cartoon Network shows

Sanjay and Craig

Sanjay and Craig

Current great cartoons/animated TV we’ve been watching:

Regular Show on Cartoon Network on Mondays at 8/7c (pm), (The Amazing World of) Gumball airs new episodes at 7:30/6:30c on Wednesdays, and Annoying Orange has new episodes airing Thursdays at 7:30/6:30c!

The occasional The Looney Tunes Show on Cartoon Network is really good too.

On Nickelodeon, Spongebob Squarepants obviously airs the occasional completely random episode, and the new show Sanjay and Craig (about a boy and a snake) is really cool too.

The upcoming stuff:

As we all know, FOX’s Animation Domination is currently airing encore episodes, but they’ll be back soon enough, as will Comedy Central’s Brickleberry and South Park.

Aqua TV Show Show

Aqua TV Show Show (Aqua Something/Aqua Teen)

We’re SUPER psyched for the return of Aqua Whatever in AUGUST on adult swim!

China, IL is slated to come back to the swim in September or October, and Hopefully new Superjail! and Metalocalypse soon too (here’s to hoping!)

Heck, Bob’s Burgers is coming to adult swim on June 23!
